CONFIDENCE AND CONDITIONING YOUTH PROGRAM

OUR MISSION

Motivate and inspire youth to be active in their everyday lives while building inner confidence and leadership skills for a successful future.

OUR GOAL

According to the American heart association, about one in three American kids and teens is overweight or obese. The prevalence of obesity in children more than tripled from 1971 to 2011. With no good reason, childhood obesity is now the #1 health concern among parents in the United States, topping drug abuse and smoking. Among children today, obesity is causing a broad range of health problems that previously weren’t seen until adulthood.

These include high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes and elevated blood cholesterol levels. There are also psychological effects like to low self-esteem, negative body imagine and depression. My ultimate goal with the Confidence and Conditioning program is to teach self-worth, build inner confidence, self awareness, and leadership skills to help decrease bullying in the school system. Along with mental and psychological empowerment, we will provide fun and interactive fitness and sports clinic such as weight lifting, nutrition, and more to decrease the current childhood obesity epidemic.
